It is characterised by a careful selection of ingredients and a <strong>completely artisanal production process<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts and pistachios are of <strong>Italian origin<\/strong> and are roasted directly in the workshop;<\/li>\n<li>the honeys that give the dough its characteristic aroma are strictly Italian and monofloral:<\/li>\n<li>the production process involves <strong>slow bain-marie<\/strong> <strong>cooking<\/strong> for over 8 hours in copper pots, which makes the mandorlato extremely crumbly;<\/li>\n<li>the sweets are shaped by hand into <strong>characteristic flakes<\/strong> that distinguish them aesthetically and make Scaldaferro almond nougat unique in shape and recognisable throughout the world;<\/li>\n<li>the flake shape also means that the nougat is already portioned and practical to eat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Scaldaferro&#8217;s production does not end with classic almond nougat, but also includes a <strong>special line of limited edition nougats<\/strong>, created by combining DOP or IGP dried fruit with small productions of rare Italian honeys, such as Bronte DOP pistachios with Tuscany coriander honey, Apulian almonds with Apulian cherry honey, Lara del Polesine walnuts with Abruzzo <em>miele di Sulla<\/em>, Sicilian almonds with Sardinian arbutus honey, and American pecans with Calabrian lemon honey, to name but a few.<\/p>\n<\/div>            <\/div>\r\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"page-element\">\r\n    <div class=\"container-fluid\">\r\n style=\"text-align: justify;\">The nougat is also very popular in a <strong>very thin 6-millimetre-thick bar<\/strong> version with almonds, pistachios and chocolate, as well as the line of soft almond nougat in bars or single-serving nougat with fresh candied orange peel, dark chocolate and espresso coffee.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In recent years, Scaldaferro nougat has been awarded several times by the international magazine <strong>Il Gambero Rosso<\/strong> as <strong>the best Italian nougat<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For some years now, it has also been possible to taste the special gourmet ice creams of <strong>Gelateria Naturale Veneziana Scaldaferro<\/strong>, located inside the <strong>Locanda alla Posta<\/strong>, which share the same production philosophy as the nougat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 2021, Gelateria Scaldaferro was awarded <strong>one of the five best ice cream parlours in Veneto<\/strong> by Gambero
