We had hopped on the bike,’ says Sara Carraro, District Manager, \u2019with the aim of visiting a country area, of escaping from the city, aiming for an area in the Land of Tiepolo<\/strong>, as suggested to us by our friend Anna, who had been in Mirano in mid-November on the occasion of the traditional Goose Fair.<\/p>\n

And it was a valuable piece of advice to visit an area rich in art and tradition<\/strong>, not too far from the big cities of the Veneto, and which in spring fills with colours and scents, where the charm of the greenery and the flowing waters is combined with widespread, quality services.
\nIn Mirano<\/strong>, a visit to the city park is a must, in the English romantic style, an example of the integration of nature and architecture, in which two 16th-century villas are set: Villa Belvedere and Villa Morosini, known as Villa XXV Aprile<\/strong>, with the Castelletto inside the park that can be visited in fine weather.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/div>

Near the Mills, near the park of Villa Belvedere, we left our bicycles and donned our comfortable gloves for Nordic walking poles, and set off towards Zianigo. Along the banks of the Taglio Canal, which offered us spectacular views, we arrived at Villa Tiepolo<\/strong>, the country residence of the famous 18th-century family of painters.<\/p>\n

Here, thanks to the \u2018On the Tiepolo Trail\u2019 app<\/strong> that we downloaded onto our smartphones, we were able to experience an exciting virtual tour, viewing the frescoed interiors of the villa itself and the nearby Villa Bianchini and Church of the Nativity of Mary<\/strong>, containing the works of art that Giandomenico Tiepolo had created for himself and not on commission as was often the case in the 18th century.
\nLater, the choice of dinner from among the many gastronomic choices offered by the Mirano evening is challenging, but unfailing is the appointment with the typical Venetian aperitif: the spritz.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n
