Are you ready for a pleasant ride along the Riviera del Brenta, starting from Oriago di Mira and hading all the way to Stra and back?
Along the way you will admire many beautiful Venetian Villas, such as Villa Barchessa Valmarana, Villa Widmann, and Villa Pisani, to name just a few. We will pass through Mira Porte, a small artificial island, and cross its charming eighteenth-century small square: here there was once a drawbridge for the passage of pedestrians and wagons, as well as the old locks that operated before river traffic was diverted. The outward route continues along the “lower” road that flanks the Naviglio Brenta, passing through Dolo, a village famous for its characteristic Squero Monumentale. Once in Stra, those who wish can take a break to visit the majestic Villa Pisani, known as the “Queen of the Brenta Riviera”.
For the return journey, follow the cycle path along the banks of the Rio Serraglio, immersed in the greenery of the peaceful and quiet Veneto countryside.
