Villa Giovanelli Colonna

Built in Noventa Padovana in the final decade of the 17th century by the Venetian but Bergamo-born Giovanelli patrician family, it is a very interesting example of a Palladian return to the Baroque era. After a major conservative restoration, it has now returned to its wonderful splendour.

Villa Foscarini Rossi

A 17th-century architectural complex in Stra, open to the public after careful restoration. The halls of the Villa are home to the Footwear Museum, while those of the Guest House are locations for meetings, receptions, weddings and other events.

Museo Nazionale di Villa Pisani

Described as “The Queen of Venetian Villas”, Villa Pisani in Stra is one of the main tourist destinations in the Veneto. Today it is a National Museum and both the park and the interior can be visited, where furniture and works of art from the 18th and 19th centuries are preserved, including Gianbattista Tiepolo's masterpiece “Glory of the Pisani family”, frescoed on the ceiling of the majestic Ballroom.

Villa Tito

Probably built in the 18th century, it was the country residence of the artist Ettore Tito who lived there between 1859 and 1941. His painter's easel is still preserved inside the villa.

Villa Ferretti Angeli

The villa was commissioned by the Venetian branch of the Ferretti family of Vicenza at the end of the 16th century, designed by Renaissance architect Vincenzo Scamozzi. The villa has two twin facades, one on the park and one on the river. Today it houses the provincial headquarters of ENAIP Veneto, a professional training organisation.

Villa Badoer Fattoretto

Villa Veneta in Dolo dates back to the first half of the 18th century and is surrounded by a vast garden and a beautiful pond. It houses the “Museo de Villano”, which collects over 20,000 tools that tell of the arts and crafts of the past.

Villa dei Leoni

Rebuilt in 1558 at the behest of Procurator Federico Contarini, the complex includes not only the Villa but also the barchessa (restored and now the Mira Municipal Theatre) and the oratory. Owned by the Municipality of Mira, the Villa with its garden is a venue for exhibitions and events of various kinds.

An enchanting building in Mira, dating back to the 1500s. After careful restoration, it is open to the public for guided tours by appointment and is an ideal setting for a fairytale event or wedding.

Villa Valmarana

Today the Barchessa is what remains of Villa Valmarana, a complex of noble 17th-century origins. Located in Mira, it is a private residence but open to the public for guided tours and is also a location for various occasions, such as weddings, business events and gala dinners.

Villa Widmann Rezzonico Foscari

One of the jewels of late Venetian Baroque, it can be visited and is home to Mira's IAT. Built in the early 18th century by the Serimanns, Venetian nobles of Persian origin, it was later acquired by the Widmann family in the middle of the same century and modernised in the French Rococo style.

Villa Allegri Von Ghega

A visitable private villa located in Oriago di Mira, today partly used as a Bed and Breakfast. It was built as a gaming and hunting lodge by the Allegri counts during the 18th century on a 16th-century foundation structure.

Villa Foscari La Malcontenta

Villa Foscari La Malcontenta is Palladio's only villa along the Riviera del Brenta. It is a private but visitable residence, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Curiosity: to this day it still has no electric lighting, by choice of the owners.
