The Brenta Riviera and the Miranese Area by bike

One of the best ways to discover the Brenta Riviera and the Miranese area is undoubtedly by bike. This is a “slow” and sustainable way to enjoy an outdoor experience at a gentle pace, in close contact with nature and the many artistic and historical treasures along the way. In this section you will find a variety of cycling routes and petal-shaped itineraries designed to offer a comprehensive overview of the area. At the same time, this valuable territory reveals a rich historical, artistic and gastronomic heritage, all framed by a landscape and natural environment of rare beauty.

The Brenta Riviera area is connected to the Veneto cycle route network and to the main “Lake Garda – Venice”, within which the Padua–Venice itinerary is included.

The most scenic routes lead towards the Venetian Lagoon. Cyclists can choose to head to the WWF oasis of Valle Averto in Campagna Lupia, or towards Fusina, where it is possible to board a ferry to reach Alberoni and then the Lido of Venice or the island of Pellestrina. Another route follows the embankments of the Rio Serraglio, a small waterway running from Mira to Villa Pisani in Stra. Further routes extend into the Miranese area, known as the “Land of the Tiepolos”.

Finally, do not miss the opportunity to enjoy the bike & boat services offered in the area by local navigation companies, for an unforgettable slow-travel experience between land and water!
